4 Loaves Fast and Easy Multigrain Sandwich Bread
Save time by baking this extra large batch of bread. This recipe makes 4 extra large loaves. Perfect for freezing and later use.
Ingredients
- 6 cups warm water
- 2 Tbsp active dry yeast
- 3/4 cup sugar you can use honey instead if you desire
- 2 Tbsp salt
- 3/4 cup melted butter
- 18-21 cups white, unbleached, all-purpose flour
- 2 cups Milanaise cracked grain mix optional
Instructions

Place all of the ingredients, only using 12 cups of flour in a VERY large mixing bowl and mix using a dough whisk.

Mix well by hand, adding more flour as needed until dough can no longer be mixed by hand.

Turn onto a well floured surface and knead for 10-12 minutes. The dough should be soft but not sticky.

Divide dough into four equal pieces and shape into loaves.

Place is well greased 11" x 4-1/2" x 2-3/4" or similar size pan.

Cover and allow bread to rise until doubled or until the dough is just beginning to crest the top of the loaf pan.

Bake in preheated 350°F oven for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and it sounds hollow when you tap the top of it.

Remove from pan and cool.
