Christmas Ginger Cookies – Soft and Chewy
Delicious and full of cinnamon, ginger and cloves, these are sure to make your house smell like the holidays when you make them!

Ingredients
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 3/4 cup butter softened
- 1/4 cup molasses
- 1 egg
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp ground cloves
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground ginger
- 1/4 cup white sugar for rolling
Instructions

Add soften butter to a medium size bowl, along with brown sugar, egg and vanilla. Mix well until light and fluffy.

Add molasses and spices and mix.

Add flour and stir until combined.

Using a cookie scoop, drop rounds of dough into white sugar and gently roll into a ball. Place on ungreased cookie sheets and bake at 375°F for 8 minutes. If you want a more crisp cookie, cook for another 2 minutes.

Remove cookies from cookie sheet and place on wire cooling rack. Enjoy!
