Crockpot Spicy Pinto Beans – No Soaking Necessary
Toss everything into the crockpot and forget about it! These beans taste fabulous and are sure to be a hit at any table!

Ingredients
- 1 pound dried pinto beans (3 cups = 1lb of beans)
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 1 small sliced jalapeno pepper
- 8 cups water
- 2 Tbsp chicken boullion
- 3 Tbsp garlic powder
- 3 Tbsp chili powder
- 1.5 tsp ground cumin
- 1.5 tsp paprika
- 3/4 tsp ground cayenne pepper
- 1.5 tsp salt
Instructions

Place all of the ingredients EXCEPT the salt into a slow cooker and mix.

Cover and cook on high for 5-6 hours.

Add salt to taste when beans are finished cooking.

Serve with hot cornbread and applesauce
