As a busy home-school mom of six, finding time to keep track of everything in my head was getting harder and harder. Years ago, I had a Franklin Covey planner that I faithfully used to keep track of all of my piano students and volunteer time. But as I reduced my commitments and appointments, I had very little need for any type of planner. Fast forward ten years and here I am with six kids and a blogger/vlogger. Trying to keep track of my commitments and home-school records has become difficult and I found that I needed to jump back into using my planner. My biggest problem is that there was no planner that was in my price range that would work for keeping track of the kids home-school records AND my to-do list AND my commitments online and offline. After MONTHS of thinking thorough what would work for me and searching the internet for a free resource that I could print from home with my black and white laser printer, I decided to make my own printable weekly 2-page planner that includes a to-do list and weekly menu.
This planners allows you to add your own personal touches. I prefer stickers, color pens and color markers but you can do anything you would like with it. By designating such a large amount of space for each day, it allows to me to keep track of the three kids being currently home schooled so when it comes to do my quarterly reports, I can just review the weeks and give an accurate assessment of what each child has done.
