Dilly Beans for Canning

These easy to assemble dilly beans are delicious are year long!

Serves: 4 pints
Ingredients
  • 2 pounds long green beans
  • 1 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 4 heads dill
  • 2½ cups water
  • 2½ cups white vinegar
  • ¼ cup salt
Instructions
  1. Snip tops of beans and then wash them.
  2. Pack beans, lengthwise, into hot Ball jars, leaving ½" - 1" head space.
  3. To each pint, add ¼ tsp cayenne pepper, 1 clove of garlic and 1 head of dill.
  4. Combine the remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
  5. Pour boiling hot over beans, leaving ½" - 1" head space.
  6. Wipe rims clean.
  7. Adjust caps.
  8. Process pints and quarts for 10 minutes in a boiling-water bath
