This week, I worked on getting the baby clothes out of the third floor and begin the process of washing everything. However, much to my disappointment, many of the clothes had large yellow spots and stains on them from being in storage. These clothes were clean when I put them away, but something about sitting in a box caused lots of stains to appear on them. I went to Pinterest and found that you can clean those yellow stains with a mixture of hot/boiling water and Oxiclean. I was skeptical that it would actually work. The stains were really bad. But after soaking them for several hours and then washing them, the clothes were almost entirely stain free. YAY!!!
I’m still working through bed rest and low activity. I have it pretty well down that I can sit to do school with the kids at the dining room table, make lunch and then I have to lay down for several hours in the afternoon while the little guys take their naps. Then I *attempt* to do a little house tiding and fix dinner. After that, I’m back in bed with my feet up for the rest of the night. It’s not exactly a great situation, but it works and I’ve been able to keep Art at work every day.
My midwife said that I just need to make it to 36 weeks and then I’m ok to deliver at home. It’s going to be a long five weeks but I’m just trying to take it one day at a time and keep somewhat of a “normal” routine.
