SPICY Boston Butt Pulled Pork
Adjust the heat to your liking and complement this with a sweet barbecue sauce and you have the perfect combination of sweet and spicy!

Ingredients
Spicy Rub
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp parsley
- 1 tsp celery salt
- 1/4 tsp cayenne
- 1/2 tsp thyme
Roast Ingredients
- 3-4 pound Boston Butt pork roast
- 1 medium onion, sliced
- 3 bay leaves
- 1 cup water
- 3 Tbsp liquid hickory smoke
Instructions

Make spice rub and rub all over the pork roast

Rub liquid smoke into roast

In a lightly greased baking dish, place sliced onion on bottom of pan. Add water and bay leaves. Place pork on top of the onions and water.

Bake in preheated 350°F oven for 3-4 hours or until internal temperature is at least 170°F

Allow meat to rest at least 10 minutes before slicing

Serve on a homemade roll and top with the onions and a sweet barbecue sauce
