I read on Pinterest how to add nutrients to your garden soil to grow large, healthy tomatoes. Here is what I’m using this year.
Fish Meal
They say that you can use fish heads, but I don’t have access to a supply fish heads so I bought fish meal instead. None of my local stores carried fish meal (they carried a liquid fish emulsion) so I ended up purchasing my fish meal from Amazon. It was the cheapest there too.
Bone Meal
You can pick this up at almost any garden center.
Aspirin
I had to buy aspirin for this, but I don’t see why you couldn’t used expired aspirin for this job. Aspirin is supposed to boost the plant’s immune system so it is more resistant to disease.
All-purpose Granular Fertilizer
You also should be able to get this at any garden store.
